Soaps

The wonderfully aromatic range of Otway Soaps is handmade in the Otways foothills, using the traditional cold-poured method.

They use a blend of vegetable oils, lye, Otways rainwater and pure essential oils.

There are no synthetic fragrances, colours or detergents in the soaps which are long-lasting and suitable for people with sensitive skins.

Jewellery

Jeweller Wayne Cuthell journeys the world in search of precious and semi-precious uncommon stones for his unique pieces, and we're proud to have his designs in the Blackwood Gully gift shop.

Wayne, who surfs regularly at nearby Johanna Beach, has a penchant for Peruvian opals, Mexican amber, Tahitian pearls, Western Australian mookite, Tasmanian stictite and Queensland sapphires.

Wayne also uses mother of pearl in pendants and earrings which is hand-carved by Tahitians - his jewellery creating a beautiful union of the traditional and contemporary.

Gathering inspiration in the exotic locations he visits, Wayne uses the jewel as the focal point and keeps his designs simple.

Starting with a series of sketches, Wayne works in sterling silver and gold.
