Welcome to Blackwood Gully
Welcome to Blackwood Gully, the ultimate Otways stop for bird-watching, a rainforest walk, fresh coffee, and delicious food prepared by our chef for mouth-watering breakfasts, lunches, morning and afternoon teas.
Our architect-designed two storey pole-house, with its vine-covered deck, is the perfect vantage point for views of the Otways while recharging your batteries for the stunning walks and waterfalls along the Great Ocean Road.
We're ideally located at Lavers Hill at the crossroads of the Great Ocean Road and Colac-Lavers Hill Road - just minutes from Melba Gully, Triplet, Beauchamp and Hopetoun Falls, and 35 minutes from the world-famous Twelve Apostles.
We're fully licensed and famous for our alfresco dining, family-friendly service and delicious food. We have our own patch of cool-temperate rainforest, complete with blackwoods, tree ferns, and a footbridge over a little creek which flows in the winter.
In autumn and winter the wood fire, fragrant aromas of freshly made Vittoria Coffee, and the comfort of warm scones, made to our secret recipe, keep people beating a path to our door.
We also cater for private functions and groups of international and domestic tourists.

Blackwood Gully owners John and Marea Baynes and their staff look forward to meeting you.
